Dr. Parmanand, DNP maintains a Doctor of Nursing Practice, he is a Psychiatric Mental health NP, and is Board Certified by the ANCC in psychiatry and psychiatric medicine. He has a versatile history of experience in behavioral health, spanning over the last 24+ years.

Dr. Parmanand, DNP maintains a Doctor of Nursing Practice, he is a Psychiatric Mental health NP, and is Board Certified by the ANCC in psychiatry and psychiatric medicine. He has a versatile history of experience in behavioral health, spanning over the last 24+ years.
He has worked in some form of psychiatry/behavioral health setting since the age of 21 years old, including not only outpatient psychiatry, but addiction medicine, forensics, and acute inpatient treatment. He works with Adults, teens, and children.
He's a proud husband and a father of two children. He understands what it's like to have friends or other loved ones who are affected by underlying mental health challenges, because just like many other families in America, it has touched individuals close to him and within his own family well.

We're a small private practice based near Grafton and Millbury. We offer mental health treatment for a range of diagnoses. It doesn't matter if you live in Pittsfield, Worcester, Boston, Brockton, Cape Cod, Amesbury, or even Rockport to Provincetown, we can treat you, as we offer both telemedicine and in office appts.

Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation
We provide initial psychiatric evaluation to diagnose and treat a number of mental health disorders, which allows creation of an individualized treatment plan if warranted.
Follow up appointments
You are then monitored regularly through follow up appointments going forward.

Dr. Parmanand, DNP sees all ages across the lifespan, children 7 years old and older, adolescents/teens, and seniors. We treat diagnoses such as, but not limited to, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, a variety of other mood and impulse control disorders, as well a multitude of other primary psychiatric diagnoses.
conditions we cannot service
We CANNOT treat PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCIES. If you are in crisis, this is an EMERGENCY SITUATION, and you need to call 911 immediately. At this time we also cannot take intake any high risk patient populations, as we do not provide case management or full wrap around services. A case by case consideration could be made if the individual seeking treatment already has these services in place. We reserve the right to decline treatment in the event we cannot provide safe and appropriate care.

We currently accept most major commercial insurers, such as CIGNA, UNITED HEALTHCARE/OPTUM, OXFORD, OSCAR HEALTH, POINT32 HEALTHCARE, TUFTS, HARVARD PILGRIM, AETNA, MASS GENERAL BRIGHAM, and BCBS. Please feel free to reach out to confirm if your insurance accepted if you don't see it listed. We also accept cash pay as well. Rates can be discussed upon contacting the practice for scheduling.
